Safeway is licensed to work with underground natural gas, steam, telecommunications, and electrical conduit lines. Our teams are skilled in infrastructure upgrades, expansions and ongoing maintenance and repair work. Safeway hires and retains only those who are as committed to excellence as the company's executive management. The equipment used is among the newest in the field as well as ConEd-certified. Pipeline-related work includes:
- Open-trench installation steel or plastic mains carrying pressures up to 350 psi
- Installation of electric conduit, telecommunications conduit, and natural gas lines on viaducts and bridges in coordination with the primary contractor
- Paving restoration
- Relocation and/or or replacement of telecom lines; installation of fiber-optic cable.
Safeway is on call and able to respond 24/7 for emergency repairs.
